These images were captured just after dawn on the South-Western shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake. Located in the foothills of the Adirondacks, this beach in Fulton County is a favorite attraction in summer and winter for fishing and motor sports. This man-made lake also suports a vast natural ecosystem. Although the GSL is most well known for it’s beaches and boating, the lake is a wonderful place to observe wildlife and all the flora and fauna native to this region of New York.
